Hashem's Beautieul Wold : Aye-Aye

The Aye-aye is the world's largest noctnal primate, and dwells predominantly in forest canopies. It weighs about 2.5 kilograms, with the female weighing in slightly less (by an average of 100 grams) than males.
The adult Aye-aye has black or dark brown fur covered by white guard hairs at the neck. The tail is bushy and shaped like that of a squirrel The Aye-aye lives primarily on the east coast of Madagascar. Its natural habitat is rainforest or deciduous forest, but many live in cultivated areas due to deforesting. Rainforest Aye-ayes, the most common, dwell in canopy areas, and are usually sighted upwards of 700 meters altitude. The Aye-aye sleeps during the day in nests built in the forks of trees. The Aye-aye commonly eats nuts, and also grubs, fruits, nectar, seeds, and fungi, classifying it as an omnivore. It often picks fruit off trees as it moves through the canopy, often barely stopping to do so. An Aye-aye not lucky enough to live in its natural habitat will often steal coconuts, mangoes, sugar cane, lychees and eggs from villages and plantations. Aye-ayes chew a hole into wood and get grubs out of that hole with their elongated and bony middle fingers. These are cute and interesting animals I hope you enjoy hashem’s greatness. I wonder if it was named by a French Canadien

A Workshop on Mivtzoim

This week we had a Mivtzoim Workshop given by Rabbi Ronnie Fine, shliach of chabad Queen Mary. He taught us how we have to use our free time and use it out to do the Rebbe's work. He informed us how to take the "Jewish blood pressure" (Tefillin) and how to approach a secretary for the first time. Many questions we're asked and Rabbi Fine-a veteran in the shlichus ground-answered without the blink of an eye. "How do we convince a Holocaust survivor to put on tefillin, if his sole reason, not to put on tefillin is because of the Holocaust?" "Tell him, that by not putting on tefillin he is actually helping the Nazis y"s fulfill their mission r"l." I wonder who Moshe is bringing next week?

NEW: Devar torah given daily

BY : Rabbi Mendy Lerman
This week we started a new extravaganza: a anonymous person he’s take upon himself to donate fifty cents everyday to each child that will come to daven in Yeshiva. The money will be used (only) to buy sefarim, from Rodals. This accomplishes two things 1) it is a great way to get kids to come and daven
2) it keeps us from talking in middle of davening. A part of this project is to appoint a kid (in this case me) to say over a short word that has to do with davening.
For example, “the words in az yashir mean then we will sing.” Question: why does it use the expression of “then” for then means the future and the yidden sang Shira in the desert which was in the past. Answer: because it means that all the yidden with Moshe and Aharon and all the Tzadikim will sing together when Moshiach comes.
After shacharis each kid writes down the way he understood it and it adds up two points for various things like trips, melava malka etc…
Than you for taking your time to read my article..
A good Shabbos, R. Mendel Lerman

Welcome

Welcome,
Welcome, chossid on this amazing journey! Starting form last week we started the mac pro (the make a chossid program) we have a duch where we fill out all the things we did that week, we do workshops where an expert comes and explains his expertise. We have started the ach gadol program, we learn with younger kids in grade 2.we have put together this newsletter, so when you’re sitting comfortably on your couch on Friday night or bored with nothing to do on Shabbos day, you’ll have something to do. So sit back relax on a couch, bed, chair etc. and read. We put in a dvar Torah, some stories, and interesting abstract things.
Enjoy!
